Established in the Sussex area for over 150 years, The Covers Group is one of the leading independent Timber and Builders' Merchants in the south of England. The family owned business now operates from 14 depots in Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey.
With an extensive portfolio of products Covers can provide all the materials required for any internal or external, commercial or domestic building project. We are also able to provide a full take-off service against you specific drawings.
Covers has one of the most comprehensive ranges of treated and untreated timber in the area. Vast stocks of prepared timber and mouldings, MDF mouldings, structural graded carcassing, sheet materials and sawn joinery are available. From the milling facilities in Chichester, Covers can produce specialist planed sections and mouldings, both in hardwood and softwood, to customers' own patterns and finished sizes. We hold a complete range of bricks, blocks aggregates and landscaping products. Superior kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories are displayed in selected depots.
Covers is a member of FOREST FOREVER and the TIMBER TRADE FEDERATION, which emphasises commitment to an Environmental Timber Purchasing Policy and Code of Conduct. We are also in the process of becoming certified in both FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody.
